The last lunch....

Sigh.... it's time to go. These few days passed much too quickly for me to enjoy. It felt like Chinese New Year has just the begun. But here am i busy packing up all my things and heading back for 'Khidmat Negara' again. But i guess with all the activities lined up, one month's time would soon be over.... Anyway here's something that might make your mouth watery... if you drool on your keyboard, don't blame me :P

Finally a proper reunion 'makan' with the closest relatives and a family friend from korea. Ah, he's consider part of our family... i've known him like forever! And so we had...

Chicken with ginger....

Prawn fritters...

Mixes vegetables...

Steamed prawn with egg white... my favourite!

Fishballs, sea anemone and 'i dunno what' in soup!

Simple as it may be, but i really appreciate what's served on the table. Perhaps it's the laugher and fellowship that we share that makes this moment precious. Something no money can measure. Besides it's the sincerity and the love of our dear cook for each one of us that counts.

Then a bit unfair one woh.. lil' girl have her own 'drumstick' >.<

Gobble them up quite fast eh.. not a single strand of meant left, only bones

So the poor doggie is left with non... and complains to mummy... hehe
(chicky bone not good for doggie.. so we feed them d' meat. Well, not always)

Definitely something not to be missed!

YEE SANG....! We self-added shreaded carrot, turnip, abalone and pamelo.

The sauce pouring ceremony by grandma :p

Toss.....................!

Higher, higher, higher!

May it be the year of the Lord.....! Prosperity, happiness, peace, health, studies....

From left- uncle yoo, aunt Bessie, huiqing, grandma, mummy

On the other side.... uncle KC, suefinn, aunt selina, uncle chan and somehow.. uncle yoo again (yeap, he's from korea... a photographer :)

Alas.....

Kouvo: May i have the remainings please please please....

To those who drop-by for blog visitation.... Blessed tikus new year!! Well, for some CNY there's a lot of 'pai nin' to do. But not for me here. One thing is cause one of my relatives passed away last year so they are not celebrating :( This year it's all down to eat, eating and eated! Sigh... maklum lah 1 solid month all 'halal' food.... hehe come back then tak-halal already. Then, since i'm away for NS i thought i would've miss all the fun baking cookies....

But look look... what i did on 'chor yi'

My favorite 'kuih bunga'!!! Yiiiipeeee......

Heee... my aunt being all excited when my grandma finally allow her to do the honours

NGA KU!!!! Can really gobble up the whole thing in an hour...

Love this a lot... although it's very unhealthy but... don't understand why pack them like this... what's the point of wasting more plastics??

Glimpse of NS open day...

Let you have some sneak peak lah. These pieces of 'memory' is captured during "Hari Terbuka Kem' for the whole Malaysia which falls on the 19th of January. Loads of families came especially those from selangor. We had a lot of fun preparing for this glorious event and really put in a lot of effort in entertaining our parents with cultural dances....

Starting off with lion dance!!

Lion taking oranges from the 'lion tamer'

Just a few days of practice.. they are considered 'geng' ady lohh

The 'musicians'

The lion dance team!

Pei hann(shah alam) and ai sing(sarawak) with the lion head :P

Tarian kipas...... they call 'san zhi wu'

Tarian india...

Sumazau dance!!.... from sarawak

They share their culture and we glad fully learn :)

The 'komanden kem' invited to dance along...

Dikir barat... bimbingan our beloved KJ misai! (kj means ketua jurulatih)

Up coming... bangala dance which they dragged KJ to join....

....and also cikgu Hanif who almost all girls going crazy about him because of his looks... (known as the most leng chai and yeng teacher in the camp and he's akhem.. quite young and and and... still single and available!)

Tents put up for display.... i think we're going to sleep in these during 'wirajaya'!

This is our class... where every morning after breakfast we will proceed.

Something i'm glad about. They provide lockers....! Forgive my messy-ness...

If you're questioning.... KKB is a model camp thus it's very very clean and beautiful. Much better than what i had in mind before reaching there. The teachers are really really nice creatures and they don't eat 'pelatih' unless you're not obedient and break rules. Going there also challenged my chinese....! I don't know la maybe it's just my camp but every chinese speaks chinese there!! Besides the food there sucks it's really enjoyable. Although every single day can really drain all your strength but all the experience's worth! Questioning about M-16?? That's yet to come la... perhaps after CNY. Then when i come back the next round there's definitely a lot to type in here...
