Thank you Lord

Despite going out early yesterday, traffic congestion is what i get... All the way from my house to deliver some stuff to a friend's and to office. I spent 1 1/2 hours on the road driving bumper-to-bumper. It was frustrating.. and especially with a manual!

I thought going back would be better. Alas! Much to my disappointment it rained heavily :( According to malaysian road theory satu kali hujan atau accident atau car rosak atau people gaduh opposite the road, suasana menjadi riuh-rendah and we cause traffic havoc see... So yeah, i took almost 45 mins to get back home.

I feel annoyed with the bad traffic. The annoyance is seeping into my bones and its coming out of my mouth until God somehow just made me realise it was pouring out there...(it all the while was, i was simply ignorant) And where am i? Sheltered and protected in my very own car. Shouldn't i be more than grateful that i am not walking out there, being sardined in public transport or riding a motorcycle... (where you'll get wet either by the rain or stupid cars cut you with a tsunami by its side)

Thank you lord for reminding me how very fortunate i am to be blessed with so much luxury.
A house over my head, a springed mattress, education opportunities, a room of my own, luxury items and gadgets , books of interest, a part-time job with good pay, a car, money to spend, yummy food to enjoy, i-am-healthy, to love someone, to be loved by, having a family, to worship freely.......................

So much so much more

I will say
Thank you, thank you Lord
All my life if from your love
Thank you, thank you Lord
Now my hearts forever yours

The thing!

So i got abit angry, annoyed and feddup with the artic weather in my office. I hate my frozen hands... I seriously should consider investing on mittens because today i came out with a foolish idea.

Believe me... it was a as crazy as this

See the black thing on the keyboard and holding the 'tikus' ?
A pair of black sock transformed into fingerless mittens. I can still type and handle the mouse only with slight difficulty of flexibility >__<

This is my cubicle. I'm the only one with a scanner but the scanner suck. Don't bother the messiness... This is me.

So now many must be wondering why my office nothing to let me do until i can take pictures la... blog la... lagi boleh

"Haroo..." from office with my sock-mitten hand

Camwhore.....!!!

Because i do work very fast one... heh. Nolah.. i took like 2 hrs to finish one post lo. Its just to past time and some motivation la to forget my freeezy-ness besides listening to songs. I got do work one lo okay.. din 'putih putih' get my gaji one.

But i think this is the akibat lo if a company allows internet but with filter la of course... Facebook and hotmail got filtered only i don't quite understand why blogger isn't. So all the part-timers are blog hopping.

Ah, after 15 minutes, the sock mitten failed me. My hands are still cold as ever and i give up. It is now warming my feet instead which sadly doesn't have much effect either. And my hands are still ever freezing until now its starting to ache. Suck...

Oh oh oh.... LeeHom rawks man. So talented in music... and i have got music talent as big as an ant. I'm watching, no listening to his taiwan concert nao... Go figure

i wanna go to his concert laaaaaa

It has been 'ice aged'

This somewhat depict what my office is like: Artic cold and boring >_<
For almost 2 months now, everyday i go through boring, routined piles of documents... It only make matters worse when the weather is -9 degrees inside.

Routinely, i start work at 9 - starting to freeze while completing left behinds or start afresh - toilet occationally but toilet is in autumn - no point going to toilet to defrost - lunch break with no pay - mostly i eat in - cafeteria is almost winter depending on which table u choose - already frozen - work sumore - finally its sahara desert outside =.=

Stupid air-cond. Everyday i get my hands frozen and myself shaking for 8 hrs until right i think my nerve abit impair ady la. Type also cannot type properly. Frozen until numb already.. sometimes fingers also jam.

Then yesterday i felt dizzy while driving home but i didn't feel its because i need food. I was not hungry. While helping at dinner suddenly my hands starts to shake. Lagilah obvious when i hold the knife to peel some onions. Whatta.. like some old feller with Parkinson or some drug addict lo :( First time body no glucose my hands shake so badly. The norm is maybe skipped breakfast also shake abit only

Adakah to tahan cold menggunakan all my glucose source because i did take lunch lo... This is bad

My country, Malaysia

I know i know... it sounds abit patriotic there but i'm not going to curse this country i live in because god forbid and pastor says "Malaysia is indeed so blessed in so many ways that we are all taking them for granted and heaven's favor on malaysia is closing. So start praying for your own country..."

And i really do agree Malaysia is really blessed in a sense that

One - Mother nature loves us that she never let earthquake, tsunami, extreme floods, drought... other natural disasters make history in our land. Except for the extreme can-melt-and-die hotness and landslides we suffer due to the selfishness of mankind. So we padan muka one

Two - There is no war and destruction. Only minor political issues which seem to take a hundred years to solve them. No bombing, no shooting, no darurat so bolehlah keluar dengan suka hatinya. There are crimes tho :S

Three - We have the freedom to persue any religion we want despite it is a muslim country and we are immigrants (if u trace back history lah)

In short, i love my country but its the people i 'beh song' with...

Case one
Cousin and i went to KWSP building to change my mailing address. We lined up at the counter where you take numbers. Then there this 2 guys suddenly appear by our sides but like one step ahead of us and we overheard the conversation (in canto lah)

Guy 1: (lala-fied hair dresser) so how to apply one ah...
Guy 2: (abit more gentleman dressed) very easy one la.. take number first la
Guy 1: ohh... (moves straight into the line directly cutting us)
Guy 2: eh, behind la.. i think u cut line leh...
Guy 1: (gayish way of talking) weh, i reach here first one loh *humph*
Guy 2: (jus walks away)

Wah, damn @#%! loh. He blind or what... so obvious we were standing there loh. Sumore we're both girls lo. Be gentleman abit can? comfirm tat feller gay la. Then joanna loudly say "some people ar cannot line up one,so ungentleman". Apparently, he english noob

Conclusion: Malaysians duno how to respect people and duno basic manners or ethics or be curteous. Sendiri wrong also damn muka tebal and loudly say he was there first. Mother i stood there like 2 mins ago. Curse him la

Case 2
While on the way walking to times square for subway with cousin... there is this 'kuai lou' family with 2 sons walking in front of us. Upon reaching the long abandoned jail, the man suddenly walk toward the walls of the jail and stood facing the wall. Yeap, he was actually peeing in public with seratus people passing by and seribu cars whooshing past. The best thing is right, like 2 metres back there's this convenient toilet which he could easily have paid 50 cents to pee... Cousin and i was like 'whata heck...?!'

Conclusion: So this is the impression tourists have toward malaysia.

"Its a hot country with traffic jams and human jams everywhere, they have nice beaches and extreme good deals for forge items with the most foul smelling fruit but also the tastiest food. The best part is you can pee and throw rubbish anywhere and anytime whenever you like"

We aren't very good citizens are we? No mannerism, no moral, no ethics, no hygiene, no consideration...... (add la all u want)

Technology and the economy is advancing unfortunately malaysians are still very much left behind, tied down with the kuno-ness and unwillingness to change or accept new things. Sad lah sad lah :(

The beginning of the new end...?

And i say, "Let there be life"

Dengan itu, hidup lah blogku yang telah lama mati ini. Ah, i wanted to be like melissa and meng-abandonkan blogku yang tiada harapan ini but tak sampai hati because

>> i like the URL
>> pasts are meaningful to me
>> malas to tell everyone to relink me (like ever they going to trust joanna to update her blog)

I hope this enthusiasm will last though... dengan semangat membara-baranya mencari templete and configure everything. Then i HTML noob rite i duno how to change it to serve my taste. Aih... which results to my 3 bestie's are on my header menu. (berasa proud leh you three....) But its a good thing because they are the ones i 'click' the most anyways. This my blog right so of course mus serve me la. If you dun like then go awayyy lah~

So yeap, a whole new beginning and a whole new chapter of life unfolding soon...
