My grandmother.... and my 'jie jie'...
How the memory of her accompanying me to school each day when i just started 'standard 1' remain fresh 'till today. Each day she would bring me to school and waited until i finish my lessons.. How during recess time she would always be there. How she would ask me about lessons and get me whatever i wanted. At that time i didn't understand how was it like to be going to the same place and waiting for such long hours with nothing in particular to do. (Well, except window shopping 'cause BBGS near 'lot 10' there mahh... my school is now Pavilion!)
Then on the saturday before mom took us for lunch at the 'Grand Millennium'. Used to be known as 'The Regent'. To a chinese restaurant...
ZING...!
Basically the environment of the high-class restaurant
With unique lighting's
And pathway... leading toward the place we're seated
Just right beside their external kitchen which they make their noodle specialty
And don't say i didn't warn you loh.. i like posting food. Hehe.. Just don't drool on your keyboard la okay..
Fried taro-dumplings.. (Low class a bit... call fried prawn lorh)
Zing's 'wu kok'... Decorate till so nice also dunno how to eat
'Har gao'
'Char siu pau'... It was really nice though don't really look appetising to me
'Siu mai'.. My favourite! But i feel that the ones sold in the market was more of my liking.. This one.. okok only ler
Our decent meal... But i dunno what noodle this is. Maybe their specialty.. This is my bowl. The waitress lah.. go and divide for us and left me without a chance to picture it.
Must always have veggie!... 'Kai lan' fried with butter and garlic. Yum...!
Gingered beef... Super delicious! Soft, tender and juicy meat...
Actually wanted some 'tim pan' one... but they don't have -.-" But nevermind la.. the mini egg tart is also fine. Crunchy on the outside and eggy on the inside.. haha
Durian puff's..! I didn't try this la.. Since i don't really know how to appreciate durians. But everyone says it's worth eating. Must be good then... for durian lovers (i'm the only one in the family who don't go crazy about durian.. everytime they eat i'll be hiding in my room. Weird i know..)
Just find this.... very classic

Grandma.. mom, jie and I
Cousin and I... while waiting for food
Aunt and uncle...
The Lobby... nice settings..
And my grandmother fell in love at first sight... the orchids.
I didn't know what to get my grandmother at first... stupid ideas like begging the hotel management to give me a pot of that orchids flash past. We laugh about it... But in the end
I went to 'petaling street' and brought her this... after school :)
Glad that she really likes them this time.. cause every year we get her something sure ada comment one. At least din waste my effort la. So hard to jaga the flower okay..so scared i kill it or crush it.. and I actually ter-break a petal while driving home... (Shhh... you know i know can ady) :P
